The Department of Computer Science and IT was established in the year 2000 with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of computer science. The form of technology and computers are being used in various day to day applications such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Education, E-Commerce, Business, Media, Music and Defense etc. Computers are an integral part of the society and should learn the computer education. The department has modern facility for teaching, learning and research. It has well equipped computing laboratories and rich repository of software covering wide spectrum of applications. It also promotes active industry institute collaboration. Our faculty members are dedicated in providing our students with the best possible education by offering courses in the latest technology and providing attention and support that is needed to produce talented graduates and post graduates in the field of computer science. The institution offers the UG computer courses such as B.Sc. (Computer Science), BCA and M.Sc. (Software Engineering) as a PG course. These courses provide knowledge of various computer programming languages and computer technologies like C, C++, VC++, JAVA, Oracle 11G, VB.NET, C#, Linux, Matlab, Neural Networks, etc.

Biotechnologist are required in research and development, production, quality control, management, marketing, contract research, academics and entrepreneurship. Global career opportunities in the field of Science & Technology are available for Biotechnologist. Bioinformatics is the exciting field that integrates Life Sciences (Biology) with Computer Technology. The recent explosion of available biological data creates all increasing demand, which far exceeds the supply for skilled Bioinformatics scientists with comprehensive training in both Biology and Computer Science. Current advances increase the need for the creation of new and innovative bioinformatics tools.
