Excursions and tours play an essential part in the holistic development of a student. Strongly believing in these Principles, College organized three tours this academic year. The objective of this educational tour was to expose the students to the functional aspects of the organizations, processes and operations. The students of final year from all departments were given opportunity to take part in this program with a view to give them practical knowledge about industries.
The Students of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics have visited National Research Center on Plant Biotechnology, New Delhi and National Bureau of Plant Genetic Research, New Delhi during their Educational tour to Jaisalmer- Jaipur- Delhi . They have attended Seminars conducted by the experts and some small practical related presentation were shown by the experts from different industries to enhance the knowledge of students.
The department of Computer Science & IT has organized the tour to Delhi-Simla -Manali for final year M.Sc.(S.E), B.Sc. (CS) and B.C.A students with the aim to give the corporate field knowledge.
They visited various IT companies like Apna Infotech Delhi and Indian Institute of Advance Studies Simla. Their presentations were given to students by the experts of organization. The different types of Computers and different emerging technologies like Android and E-Commerce are exposed and known to the students through such industrial visit.
